I’m so happy to see friendship bracelets are back, I’ve loved these for as long as I can remember!!! From way back when they were originally bought from your summer holidays abroad for friends. I always remember a holiday to Ibiza when I was 7 ending in armfuls of coloured string and beads. I had my dad deliriousfrom buying me friendship bracelets and the shop that sold them was my base for the whole two weeks, coming away every time with my new ‘favourite’ bracelet!

One of my favourite jewellery designers is Dogeard and my mum gave me one of their ‘Make a Wish Bracelets’ for Christmas.
Although on the expensive side for a friendship bracelet it has a quirky story that adds a little sparkle to it. The legend of the collection is to make a wish and wear the bracelet, made of thin tobacco Irish Linen. The bracelet will then over the course of a few months wear away and once it snaps your wish will come true and so far mine has!! If you believe in superstition or not it’s still a cute gift to receive and to give to someone special!!
